International Judging Policy
One (1) to two (2) judges per participating country may be appointed depending on the number of registered teams.
Strict sporting neutrality will be enforced.
No judge or referee will officiate a match involving a team of the same nationality.
The final list of officials will be confirmed after registration closure.


2. FAI SPORTING LICENCE đŸŽ«

All competitors and team managers must hold a valid FAI Sporting Licence (Aeromodelling – Drone Soccer), registered in the official FAI database.

Licence holders may be required to present official photo identification.

Mandatory for players and team managers.
Not required for helpers or technical assistants.
Licence must be valid at the time of the event.


3. DRONE SOCCER TEAMS

Competition organised exclusively in Subclass F9A-B.

  • Maximum 5 players per team
  • 1 coach per team
  • 3 active players on the field
  • Conducted under official FAI / CIAM F9A-B rules + local regulations below

4. ENTRY FEE & REGISTRATION 💳

Entry Fee: €50 per F9A-B team (up to 5 players included).

PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE 🗓

(4–5 April 2026 – All times local, subject to adjustment)

Saturday – 4 April 2026 (Group Stage)

08:00 – Arrival & Registration (approx. 1 hour)
Teams arriving Friday 3 April evening must inform the organiser for possible early check-in.

09:00 – Team Managers’ Meeting (30 minutes)

10:00 – Start of Group Stage Matches

12:00 – 14:00 – Lunch Break

14:00 – Group Stage Continues

Estimated end of Group Stage: between 18:00 and 20:00
Final timing depends on number of teams and operational flow.


Sunday – 5 April 2026 (Final Phases)

09:00 – Start of Elimination Rounds

12:00 – 14:00 – Lunch Break

14:00 – Final Rounds Continue
(Quarter-finals / Semi-finals / Final phases depending on number of teams)

15:00 – 16:00 – Estimated End of Competition
Includes Third Place Match, Final and Prize Giving Ceremony 🏆


7. LOCAL REGULATIONS (FRANCE)

B.1.5 LED Light Devices

Additional LEDs are not mandatory.
However, part of the LEDs on the drone circumference must display a distinct colour to identify the pilot.
Minimum: at least 4 clearly visible LEDs of a different colour.

B.3.1 Shape and Dimensions – Subclass F9A-B

External diameter (D1): 50 cm
Internal diameter (D2): 30 cm
Maximum thickness (T): 10 cm
All goals must be strictly identical.


B.7 FORMAT OF THE EVENT (France – F9A-B)

General Principle
All competitions organised in France must include a mandatory group stage followed, when applicable, by elimination rounds.
Pure single-elimination or double-elimination formats are not permitted.

Group Stage
Round-robin format within groups.
Comparable number of matches per team.
Ranking established according to FAI sporting criteria.
This is the only official qualification phase.

Inter-Group Pre-Ranking (when required)
Used when teams from different groups must be compared for qualification or seeding.

Criteria order:

  1. Total match points
  2. Goal difference
  3. Goals scored
  4. Head-to-head (if applicable)
  5. Additional FAI tie-breakers

Only group-stage results are considered.

14 Teams
Groups: 4+4+3+3
Top 2 per group qualify
No inter-group comparison required
8 teams → Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final + Third Place Match

15 Teams
Groups: 3×5
Top 2 per group + 2 best third-placed teams
Inter-group pre-ranking required
8 teams → Quarter-finals → Semi-finals → Final + Third Place Match

Participants are informed that this is a “packed lunch” event (bring-your-own meal).

Several fast-food and restaurant options are located nearby within the Carré Sénart commercial area, including:

  • Five Guys
  • McDonald’s
  • and other restaurants and cafĂ©s.

A large shopping centre is also located in immediate proximity to the venue.
